Governance

The overall management and direction of FIRN is the responsibility of the FIRN Executive Committee consisting of the Network Convenor, the four Programme Directors and the Chair of the Industry Liaison Committee. The Executive Committee is assisted by the Network Executive Officer in implementing the various FIRN activities. Most participating institutions have at least one representative in the FIRN Consultative Committee, which provides the Executive Committee with feedback and advice from the broader membership. To facilitate communication FIRN has appointed one Local Coordinator per participating institution who can assist peers in preparing proposals to FIRN.
